The Performance report allows you to keep track of your essay scores by trait and total score and by writing genre.

 

  1. The Student Averages: Trait and Total Scores table displays the average score for each of the six writing traits, total score, and instructor-scored textual evidence and content accuracy scores, if given, for each essay prompt to which you have responded. 
    • Below the table, your average total score data for each prompt are shown in a graph.
      • The vertical red line indicates your overall average total score, so you can see how your prompt scores compare to your overall average score. 
      • Hovering over the blue bar for a prompt displays your average total score for the prompt and your overall average total score, for comparison.
      • You can filter the data displayed in the graph by clicking on the drop-down menu above the graph and selecting a category, such as a specific writing trait. 
    • To view your Score Report for a particular prompt, click the date in the table or the graph. 
  2. The Student Averages: Writing Genre Scores report displays your average prompt score in each specific writing genre. 
    • Your total score data by genre is also displayed in the graph below the table.
  3. To export and print a report, click the Download button.
    • The report can be filtered and formatted as you choose, prior to printing.

The Prompt Analysis report displays the number of draft submissions for each writing prompt to which you have responded, as well as trait scores and total scores for your most recent draft for each prompt.

The Usage reports provide data on how often you are writing and revising essays, completing lessons, and collaborating through peer review. 

 

  1. The Summary report displays the total number of essays and drafts submitted, average number of drafts submitted per essay, number of peer reviews given and received, and time spent on lessons.
  2. The Essays report displays the titles of the prompts to which you’ve responded and the number of essay drafts submitted for each prompt. 
  3. The Peer Reviews report displays peer reviews that you have completed for members of your peer review group and peer reviews completed by group members for essays you have written. 
    • Click a date in the table to view a peer review submission.
  4. The Lesson Usage Summary report displays data in a table and a graph with the dates of the most recent lesson use by Category and Total Time Spent in lessons within each category. 
    • In the table, click on the Category title to view the dates of use and time spent on specific lessons.
  5. To export and print a report, click the Download button.
    • The report can be filtered and formatted as you choose, prior to printing. .

The Average Monthly Scores report displays your average total score by month. 

  • The drop-down menus above the graph allow the data to be filtered to display specific categories of monthly scores.
  • Advanced Filtering allows you to display scores for previous years, and first drafts, last drafts, or both.
